 Topographies

Corneal topographies are used to map your eye before and after L.A.S.I.K. surgery. Much like a map the topography shows elevation and curvature. It is important for your doctor to know the shape of your eyes to determine the appropriateness of L.A.S.I.K. on an individual basis. Topographies are also used to track the progress of healing after your surgery. For a complete description of corneal topography see an article on the subject at Emedicine.

Below are copies of my topographies, medical notes from my surgery and subsequent second opinions. Click on the picture next to the description to open the larger version. You can use the zoom tool to take a closer look at any enlarged picture.
